From the punting boats that carried rice, cereals and other goods across the villages in Kuttanad To the Houseboats we see right now. The evolution had begun with the concept developed by Mr. T G Raghu, our Managing Director. Now EGH (promoted by ATDC Alleppey) are pleased to introduce our new concept: The Botel Alleppey by EGH is an innovative idea to entertain the guest and make their floating experience fun-filled.
The Botel is a new concept of accommodating the guest in a Super Deluxe room in a houseboat and providing more entertainment activities on land during the docking hours.
This includes Canoeing / Kayaking, Cycling /village walk, tea / coffee with sunset view / Live music performances / Karaoke for the travelling guests / Buffet Dinner etc.

ITINERARY

Day 01

  • 01.00 PM to 05.30 PM : Check in to the houseboat with welcome drinks ( tender coconut ) . Have a fresh up and later enjoy the Kerala style lunch on Banana Leaf ( Sadhya ) . The cruise will be from 01.00 PM to 05.30 PM Enjoy the tea snacks on the Houseboat and at 05. 30 PM reach Pallathuruthy , the Landing point.
  • 05. 30 PM to 06. 30 PM : Enjoy complimentary activities such as Canoeing , Kayaking , Cycling , village walk , tea tasting with sunset view etc at our well arranged space in Pallathuruthy .
  • 0630 PM to 0730 PM : Have refreshments
  • 0730 PM to 0830 PM : Enjoying Live music performance of Musician in our well arranged lawn area . The guest can showcase their performance too there .
  • 0830 PM to 0930 PM : Enjoy Buffet Dinner in North Indian style at our newly built multi cuisine restaurant .
  • Later enjoy the time in the houseboat or in the land area and enjoy a good sleep on the boat .

Day 02

  • 0630 AM : Morning tea
  • 0630 AM to 0730 AM :The guest can walk through the villages and can enjoy the village life .
  • 0800 AM to 0930 AM : Enjoy the cruise on the boat and enjoy the buffet breakfast on board.
